EXPERT ANALYSIS BY EXPERIENCED PV SPECIALISTS

ASSESSMENTS FOR SOLAR SYSTEMS

Suncycle offers system testing through certified PV experts. The causes of a reduced output are identified with specialized measuring instruments, such as our mini-labs and mobile labs. A detailed test also includes the on-site verification of compliance with DIN standards, VDE regulations, documentation obligations and a professional installation.

There are several reasons why an expert assessment of your system has to be carried out:

  • To document any damage that has occurred (hail, lightning, snow load, component defects)
  • To assess and identify defects if the system is sold
  • Towards the end of a warranty period so as to be able to claim possible repairs or corrections
ACCEPTANCE TEST

If a PV system is about to change hands or if a new system is to be handed over to the investor by the installer, we are available as an independent third-party to put the system through its paces and support the transfer with sound analysis.

YIELD ASSESSMENTS

We help investors and integrators assess possible yields in the run-up to planning a system. These yield assessments serve as a basis for the economic appraisal of the PV investment project.

END-TO-END QUALITY CONTROL

We can check manufacturers’ products at their production site, upon receipt, or at the place of installation.  Random samples are taken and process tests performed in the component manufacturers’ production facilities (in-line inspection) and the parts are then checked again for output and damage during the transfer of risk at the place of delivery.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION

We offer the supervision of construction work through our “Resident Engineers”, particularly in areas that are hard for investors to monitor. The quality of construction planning and execution, as well as compliance with the schedule, are monitored and corrective measures are suggested as necessary.

WARRANTY EXPIRATION

We offer our expertise so that possible complaints can be reported before warranty deadlines expire. This can relate to individual components such as solar modules, storage solutions or inverters, or complete PV systems.
